We are thrilled to announce that the third and last piece from the latest series \u201cBanzai-Ukiyoe San-en\u201d has finally been completed.
\nThe featured artist this time is one of the first Nishiki-e creators Suzuki Harunobu, whose beauty prints are popular for their delicacy.<\/p>\n

\nAbout Suzuki Harunobu, from the series \u201cBanzai-Ukiyoe San-en\u201d
\n-\u201cFuryu enshoku Mane’emon (The Amorous Adventures of Mane’emon)\u201d is a story of Mane’emon, who is downsized to a pea by use of magical herbs, travels around Japan to peek varieties of lovemakings.
\n-This is the last scene from the 24 pictures, which depicts Mane’emon looking up a courtesan and her lover having sex on a street at night.
\n-Since Harunobu\u2019s portrait is nowhere to be found, Harunobu appears here as Mane’emon
\nwith eyes that I imagine. The \u201cMane’emon\u201d series was published in the first month of Meiwa 7 (1770), the year he died at 46.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
